In this article we will be covering a couple different scenarios of how to export information from the Visits page. In this case, regarding viewing Cancelled and Contracted visits specifically.
To access the Visits page go to Main Menu > Visits, Then click open under the Visits section.
Now on this page will go over a couple of common scenarios of things you’d want to export into Excel.
One of the common scenarios is to view and report on Cancelled visits.
You’ll want to make sure both the ‘Cancelled?’ and 'Cancel Reason' Columns have been added, and also make sure to show ‘All’ visits by clicking the ‘Show’ Toggle button. This will make sure to include cancelled visits and not just active.
Next Filter the ‘Canceled?’ column and set that to ‘Is True’ and that will pull a list of cancelled visits specifically and show the cancel reason next to it.
You can now export this list into Excel by simply click the Mass action dropdown in the bottom left and select the Export to Excel option. This will allow you to manage that information in excel and make it easier to review and save that information externally.
Also a quick mention, whenever exporting information to Excel it will always include the same columns you had selected when viewing that page.
Another common scenario is to review contracted visits and be able to report on that information.
To do this make sure to have the ‘Contract Name’ and ‘Contract?’ Columns selected on the visits page.
I would also recommend adding the ‘Field Remarks’ Column as well so you can review what the techs did for those visits when reviewing Complete/Incomplete Visits. It should look somewhat like this:
In the example above I’m filtering out for jobs that contain the word complete and the Contract column is set to is True. This will grab a list of all complete/incomplete jobs that are tied to a contract so I can review what was done for those contracted jobs.
Again if you need to export this info to Excel too have that as a separate record simply us the Mass action > Export to Excel option.
