Color Rules will allow users to elevate visit and property detail when mass scheduling for a more efficient experience. Taking advantage of this feature will allow you to represent up to two details as pin colors when mass scheduling.
To set up the colors first go to the settings page and click on Color Rules:
There are 3 different options for color customization in the color rules page:
The first one is Color Rules based on User Defined Fields
To set this up:
- Click the + button to add a UDF
- Name the Color Rule
- Click the green checkmark to save
To set up and apply the colors:
- Click on the arrow on the left
- Hover over the “No UDF” and click the + button
- Choose the UDF you would like to apply
Note* The only UDF options available will be the ones with Numeric Text and any Selection List answers. Open text answers are not eligible for Color Rules. - Click the + button on the left
- Select the option to apply colors to (number groupings if using numeric UDF or each option from a selection list)
- Repeat steps 4&5 until all options are selected
- Click the + button in the red box
- Select the color and click apply
- Click save
- Repeat steps 7-9 until complete
The second option is Global Color Rules:
Global color rules are available to all FieldCentral customers that are prebuilt. Additions may be made in the future.
To apply colors to the Global Color Rules:
- Click the edit button on the right
- Select a color for “is False”
- Click apply
- Select the color for “is True”
- Click apply
- Click Save
The third option on the page is Aging Map Threshold Settings:
When Mass Scheduling, the Visit Aging rule will compare a Visit To Do’s Proposed Date relative to the selected Schedule On Date (SOD) to recommend a time window for that visit to be scheduled.
To change the Aging Range simply type or use the arrows in the number boxes to adjust the number.
Color Rules will apply to the Mass Scheduling Page in Visits To Do (VTD)
