In this article we will cover how a user would edit the Work To Dos (WTDs) for an already existing Estimate.
Knowing how to edit these Services/WTDs will help ensure users are able to fully customize their customers' contracts to their needs.
Once you have logged into your FieldCentral web account, navigate to the Main Menu and select “Sales & Est.”
If the desired estimate is visible within the “Estimates & Opportunities” preview window, the user can click on the “View Estimate” $ sign icon to access its details.
If it is not visible, the user will first need to click “open” to access the full log and once the estimate is located, they will click on the “View Estimate” icon.
Once in the Estimate Details, navigate to the “Work To Do’s” tab on the left hand panel. The user will then click “Edit” in the right hand corner and adjust the associated WTDs as desired.
Users are able to add or remove the WTD’s all together or simply adjust the information associated with them.
For any WTD that is toggled “On” and within the “Edit” mode, the user is given access to adjust all other pertaining information as desired.
If the user would like to either add a note or adjust additional rate information, they will need to utilize the action buttons on the right hand side of the page.
Once you are satisfied with the adjustments, be sure to click the “Done” button in the top right corner to save your changes.
Reminder on FieldCentral Pricing Structure:
- If there is no Price Override, the system will default to Property Level Pricing
- If there is no Property Level Pricing, the system will default to Price Matrix values
- If the Work To Do is not assigned to a Price Matrix, the Work To Do Default (base) pricing will stand
