EDITING THE SCHEDULE PAGE VIEW

In this article we will cover how a user would adjust and customize the schedule view based on their company needs.

Knowing how to customize the schedule view will help ensure that you are seeing the most relevant information when scheduling visits for your customers. In turn, your customers will receive a higher level of customer service too!

Once you have logged into your FieldCentral web account, navigate to the Settings page either via the Main Menu or via the quick access panel.

Select “Schedule View”.

Select “Edit” in the top right corner of the screen.

Within the top portion of the page, users will be able to select the following:

  1. Number of crews displayed on the schedule, the length of the workday, and the time to start the work day.
  2. The contact customizable fields are the custom 1-6 on the schedule screen under the property information. Use these to display additional property information when the customer is pulled up on the schedule. (See below for context)
  3. Schedule Block Header: The first line on the schedule block
  4. Allow Visit Time Overlap: Allows for visits to be overlapping on the schedule instead of forcing them to be back to back.

Custom fields 1-6 on Schedule page:

The next section of the Schedule View page has additional settings options:

  1. Schedule Block and Tooltip Fields: Is the information displayed in the schedule block and the “Tooltip” popup window when hovering over the schedule block.
  2. Tooltip Fields: 2 additional options to only display in the popup window.
  3. Field App Tech/Crews Schedule Fields: information to display on the field app for the crew/technician

Then lastly, at the bottom of the page, there are a final two settings options:

  1. Mass scheduling (used for SOD): Customize pin colors in mass scheduling for sod applications.
  2. 2 Month Calendar Settings: Adjust to change the distances associated with the colors on the scheduling legend.

Though some of these settings do have defaults to them, it's another opportunity for you to ensure you are getting the most out of FieldCentral for your business and customize these fields.
