FieldCentral Release 2.1.4.0 (10/28/24)

We are excited to share with you the updates included in this release for FieldCentral. The announcement will be broken up into three sections: New Things, Updated Features, and Resolved Issues.


We greatly appreciate any time you invested in order to either report an issue or request an enhancement. Your feedback is highly valued! 

NEW THINGS:

The following are new features that provide you with additional capabilities and functionality. 

  • We are happy to announce 'FieldTracker', a new feature that will help you to track the progress of your technicians/crews throughout the day and historically. See a day's visits on a map for today or a previous day.
    • For our FieldCentral Tracker (i.e. Azuga GPS) clients, get additional insights added to the map, including: real-time location of your vehicles, breadcrumb tracking that highlights the path the vehicles took, and view important alerts that highlight potentially unsafe driving situations.

UPDATED FEATURES:

The following are updates to existing features that are intended to enhance the quality of life for our clients. 

  • Adjusted the weight of several fields when searching to improve the user experience.

RESOLVED ISSUES: 

The following are client-reported issues and HindSite Software discovered issues that have now been resolved. 

  • Price Matrix interface will no longer hide regardless of input values.
  • Corrected an issue where Customer Notes in QuickBooks were being overwritten.
  • Number of Visits in a contract can now be edited, regardless of RouteBuilder association.
  • Updated the display of notes within the Quick View under Estimates.
  • Trip Charge calculations for visits (including extended) will now correctly calculate in the Tech Revenue report.
  • Property Level Pricing will no longer overwrite the "Prepaid" Bill Type on an estimate created from an estimate template.
  • Historic materials will no longer be retrieved multiple times on the Material Usage report.
  • When taking payment on the field application, customers will now be created prior to attempting to create the invoice.
  • Picture attachments will no longer duplicate when resyncing data.
  • Updated Stax API to address "Error Processing Request" returns.
