FieldCentral Release 2.3.8.0 (9/18/2025)

We are excited to share with you the updates included in this release for FieldCentral. The announcement will be broken up into three sections: New Things, Updated Features, and Resolved Issues.


We greatly appreciate any time you invested in order to either report an issue or request an enhancement. Your feedback is highly valued! 

NEW THINGS:

The following are new features that provide you with additional capabilities and functionality. 

  • Check out the newly introduced "Visit Summary Report" within the Reporting section!

UPDATED FEATURES:

The following are updates to existing features that are intended to enhance the quality of life for our clients. 

  • When invoicing one or many visits consisting of a single PO Number - that PO number will now populate the dedicated PO number field in QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Extended visits will no longer deduct more than '1' available visit from a contract.
  • When accessing the visit log for a property, Cancellation Reason will now be visible.
  • The Budget verse Actual report now offers an option to include financial data.
  • When searching phone numbers on the schedule, results will be retrieved without the need to include special-character based formatting. (No “(“ or “-” needed)
  • The visit summary modal Materials section has been increased in size.

RESOLVED ISSUES: 

The following are client-reported issues and HindSite Software discovered issues that have now been resolved. 

  • Improved the Field Application time processing and data capture to alleviate a "stuck timed in" scenario.
  • (Mobile) Assessments will now display Selection List answers if available.
  • (Mobile) Corrected an issue where Field Special Notes were not popping up on the field application for Android users re-opening a visit.
  • Realigned UI for the Contract Renewal function.
  • Updated how FieldCentral handles rounding to mirror Billing and Reporting in all known scenarios.
  • Updated the processing to better handle special characters when sending invoices to customers.
  • Corrected a scenario where attachments on a property could not be viewed.
  • Assessments files can now be opened on properties as expected.
  • Corrected an issue where Flat Rate visits ignored time calculations for cost analysis.
  • Reminders assigned from Estimates will no longer assign to the incorrect user.
  • Contacts (and subsequently visits) will now inherit property-level work to do notes as expected.
  • Updated the time calculation for the Time Summary report to better accommodate Flat Rate visits.
  • Visits added to "Pending" (to send to QuickBooks) will now maintain that pending status upon page refresh.
  • When viewing days on the schedule with a property selected, any visits for that property on a given day will have priority in displaying an outline.
  • Improved rounding processing upstream to better bring value alignment between various reports and billing displays.
