FieldCentral Release Notes August, 2026 9/11/26
We are excited to share with you the updates included in this release for FieldCentral. The announcement will be broken up into three sections: New Things, Updated Features, and Resolved Issues.
We greatly appreciate any time you invested in order to either report an issue or request an enhancement. Your feedback is highly valued!
NEW THINGS:
The following are new features that provide you with additional capabilities and functionality.
- Mass enable "Use for Payment" flag for Contact email & phone numbers under Settings > Communications.

- Materials now transfer over from the estimates to contracts.
- See the Contract Materials Video.
-
- Service level notes from the Estimate will be viewable, but not editable, from the Contract page.
UPDATED FEATURES:
The following are updates to existing features that are intended to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
- Updated the Heritage+ import spreadsheet to the updated format of "ITEM #" for the column header.
- The Material Forecast Report now pulls Materials from Contracted Visits that were not already used. There is also an option to include Materials attached to Visit To Do (VTD) records, and a filter to pull materials for a specific Contract. The report continues to pull Materials attached to non-Contracted Visits in the future. The date range selected finds non-Contracted Visits scheduled in that date range, and suggested schedule date for Contracted Visit to Do records.

- Services are now unable to be deleted if they have existing work outstanding.
RESOLVED ISSUES:
The following are client-reported issues and HindSite Software discovered issues that have now been resolved.
We encourage YOU to communicate with us as you discover features that would help you in your day to day business and let us know if you run into a system issue so we can quickly address it. We are here to help and make your life easier!
Please take advantage of the Help Desk when logged into FieldCentral if you do have an issue or you want to submit a new feature idea.
- When adding a Material to a Visit from the office, the Material description will now automatically be added to the visit as well and appear on downstream billing screens & documents.
- Resolved an issue where Management Company grouped invoices were not successfully going into QuickBooks. This was due to blank space characters existing before or after the Management Company Name - these are now truncated when attempting to pass into QuickBooks.
- After editing a Material description in the Visit Summary modal or screen, the updated description will persist when reopening.
- After deleting a Material from the Visit Summary modal or screen and then adding a new Material, the new Material data is no longer prepopulated with the previously-deleted Material's data.
- When adding another Material in the Visit Summary modal or screen, the second Material added will now show the actual Material Description, and not the previously-entered Material's description.
- Addressed an issue where column filters on the Visits, Visits to Do, and Accounts pages were not always applying correctly. This sometimes caused unexpected mass action results or expected records to not show in the grid.
- When mass creating Visits to Do, all of the values set via Property-Level Pricing (PLP) (i.e. pricing, man-hours, and rate types) now correctly match across the scheduling tray & visit summary’s billing amount.
- Mass creating Visits to Do is now correctly applying Property-Level Pricing (PLP) (i.e. rate, rate type & man-hours) on the Scheduled drawer.
- Fixed an issue where an Estimate Template would have a Material with quantity of 0, and when added to an Estimate with a non-zero quantity, the Material price would remain as $0.00. The Material price on the Estimate now correctly updates to match the quantity entered.
- Contract-level Service notes are readable, but not editable. This is because the data is propagated to visits - both pending & existing. If any changes are needed to these notes, they should be done on the Visit records. This may be changed in the future.
- On the Incompletes Visits page, the mass action to export an Excel spreadsheet will now contain data and include records from all pages.
- On the Visits to Do page, the mass action to export an Excel spreadsheet will now contain records from all pages.
