FieldCentral Release Notes: March 2026 (4/1/26)

We are excited to share with you the updates included in this release for FieldCentral. The announcement will be broken up into three sections: Updated Features and Resolved Issues.

NEW THINGS:

The following are new features that provide you with additional capabilities and functionality. 

UPDATED FEATURES:

The following are updates to existing features that are intended to enhance the quality of life for our clients. 

  • Improved performance on the Schedule screen.

RESOLVED ISSUES: 

The following are client-reported issues and HindSite Software discovered issues that have now been resolved. 

  • Fixed an issue where Estimate approval links in customer emails were still active, even after the deletion of the Opportunity or Estimate.
  • Multi-select UDFs populated from the mobile app will no longer merge multiple values into one when sending to the office; multiple values will now display as expected.
  • The Incomplete Reason column on the Incompletes page is now showing values on the grid.
  • Fixed an issue where scheduling multiple services at the same property caused all services to use the first service’s man hours. Each service now correctly uses its own assigned man hours.
  • When changing the contracted price of an extended visit, visit parts in certain circumstances will no longer become locked or uninteractive.
  • Improved performance on the Visits, Visits to Do, and Accounts page. This also resulted in the Show/Hide Columns function to a single place.
  • Resolved an issue where the Schedule > Payment Modal would render off-screen for certain screen resolutions.
  • Resolved an issue where Prepaid Estimates would occasionally show on the Schedule > Payment Modal after a customer successfully paid for those estimates. This would only happen for clients with Prepaid Accounting set to $0 Line Item.
  • Invoices with long line item descriptions can now be sent via payment links (i.e. email/text). If the line description is longer than 260 characters, the data will be truncated and not included on the payment link email or landing page.
  • Improved the performance on the Prepaid Estimate Customer Acceptance Page, resulting in faster payment processing time and ensuring Contracts were created immediately after payment.
  • Prepaid discounts are now only applying to the trip charge on Contracted work if the Prepaid checkbox is checked on the Estimate.
