FieldCentral Release Notes: May 2026 (5/8/2026)

We are excited to share with you the updates included in this release for FieldCentral. 

We greatly appreciate any time you invested in order to either report an issue or request an enhancement. Your feedback is highly valued! 

RESOLVED ISSUES: 

The following are client-reported issues and HindSite Software discovered issues that have now been resolved. 

  • When creating estimates in the field app, materials added to the estimate will now appear correctly on the estimate in the admin experience.
  • Improved performance & timeout issues experienced on the Visits & Contracts pages, especially for those clients with a large number of Visits, Services and Service Categories.
  • For clients with a large number of materials, the Visit Summary screen will no longer lock up when searching for materials.
  • Payment links can now be sent for invoices that contain a negative amount on the line. The immediate fix is to consolidate the entire invoice into a single line. NOTE: This will be a temporary fix as we work with our partner to accept negative line items.
  • Fixed an issue where the surcharge amount was doubling when sending the Payment to QBD. This was only happening for clients with Prepaid Estimates and Prepaid Accounting set to $0 Line Item and using QBD.
