SENDING PAYMENT LINKS VIA TEXT/EMAIL

FieldCentral clients with the Stax add-on feature can now send payment links to their customers directly from the “Schedule” page!

On the Schedule page, once users have entered the appropriate property/customer into the search bar, they can use the “$ Collect Payment” button to send their customer a payment link by text or by email. 

Click on the “$ Collect Payment” button to review all open invoices for the property.

Open Invoices will be displayed on the left side of the modal. Contacts associated with the property and payment information will be displayed on the right side.

To send a payment link, users will select which open invoices they would like to include and then select if they would like to send an SMS Text Message to the contact or if they would like to send via Email.

At the bottom of the open invoices list, users will see which invoices have already been sent to the customer via a payment link and currently await payment submission. 

Users can also click on the “Link Exists” icon to review the invoice. 

This would also be a good time to verify the phone number and email address listed are both accurate for the contact. If an edit is needed, click the “Update Customer Billing Information” icon associated with the contact.

This will open the “Payment Contact Information” file for the selected contact. Users can click on existing phone numbers or email addresses in order to edit them. Users can also select the “Add New Record” button to add additional phone numbers or email addresses to the contact.

User Access Notes:

Users Assigned as Company Owner, Office Manager, and Accountant will automatically have access to Payment functionality.

Users Assigned as Foreman or Crew/Technician will need Payments to be enabled.
