ENHANCEMENTS
The following are enhancements that were included in this release. We have added new features to the recently launched Texting capabilities included with FieldCentral Connect. We also included a number of time-saving enhancements that will increase user productivity and day-to-day usage of the system.
FIELDCENTRAL CONNECT: TEXTING
We continue to enhance our new Texting feature within FieldCentral. The following enhancements were added in this release:
- Mass Enable Texting to All Phone Numbers: With a single click of a button, enable texting for all Contacts. This feature is especially useful for existing clients who are adopting Texting for the first time and already have Contacts in the system.
- Enable Texting on Any Contact Management Screen: Enable texting for a Contact on any screen where a Contact can be created or updated.
- Texting History in Property Summary Modal: When on the Property Summary screen, see the full communication history for that property, including texting history.
- Contact Name & Property Address Columns on Texting History: See additional information when looking through texting history.
- Create Generic Texting Templates for Manual Texts: Create Texting Templates that will be used to send common, manually-triggered text messages.
- Unrecognized Text Response Alerts: Should a customer respond to an automated text, a system alert will appear on the screen and a Reminder will be created. These Reminders will function and appear just like other FieldCentral Reminders.
- Resubscribe to Texting Tooltip: If a Customer accidentally opts out of texting and wants to opt back in, we provide a tooltip with directions you can provide to your Customer, including your unique texting number.

QUALITY OF LIFE ENHANCEMENTS
In this release, many of the improvements focus on efficiency and usability. We want to make those daily tasks easier to accomplish. Each minute or second saved on these common tasks helps you get more work done in a given day.
- Option to Send Canceled Visit to Visits to Do: When canceling a visit, users have the option to send it back to Visits To Do.
- Include Employee Start & Stop Time on Invoices: Users now have the option to include the Employee with exact start and stop times on invoices.
- Show Available Hours When Mass Scheduling: When mass scheduling the “available hours” for the selected crew will display - adding additional visibility to users for work already scheduled on the selected day.
- Improve Usability of Incomplete Notes Modal: Quickly review and update Administrative Notes from the Incomplete Visits menu.
- Filter by Estimate Title in Estimates & Opportunities Screen: Quickly locate records by entering keywords from the title of the Estimate to isolate install, service, or seasonal agreement estimates.
- Management Company Default Contacts: Management Companies can now have their own “default” contact. Management Properties will inherit and use this default contact if no other default contact is present.
- Importing Property Material and Labor Discounts: Users can now import Property Level discounts for both materials and labor.
- Visit Summary Time Entry Editing: When clicking into the time selection box within the visit summary, the cursor will now place where clicked rather than highlighting the row.
- Set Start Time when Routing: When routing a crew from the schedule users will now be able to select a specific start time for that day.
- Monthly Bills Start Date: Monthly bills from contracts will now honor their Start Date - allowing users to bill monthly on days other than the first of the month.
- Accounts Field Filter Updates: When filtering on the Accounts page users now have access to updated filter options, allowing searches by ranges of irrigation zones or associated dates.
RESOLVED ISSUES
The following are client-reported issues that were addressed in this release:
- When routing a day from the schedule user’s will no longer receive a syntax error.
- QuickBooks will now correctly accept line item “descriptions” in all configurations.
- Management Company updates will now cascade to associated Management Properties when relevant information is updated.
- Field Special Needs will now display on the Daily view of the field application when assigned to the visit block.
- Estimates will now correctly update when associated company information is changed.
- Monthly total Price for Contracts will now correctly update when triggered by pricing changes.
- Updated property fields to better accommodate special characters.
- Management company information will refresh and display on the Accounts page.
