FieldCentral Release 1.6.8.0 (9/11/23)

We are excited to share with you the updates included in this release for FieldCentral. The announcement will be broken up into three sections: New Things, Updated Features, and Resolved Issues.


We greatly appreciate any time you invested in order to either report an issue or request an enhancement. Your feedback is highly valued! 

NEW THINGS:

The following are new features that provide you with additional capabilities and functionality. 

  • Ability to add distributors and map them to materials/parts. 
  • Once distributors are mapped, ability to review usage and quantities via the Material Usage Report and export for a smoother distributor re-ordering process. 
  • Create a report of materials & quantities that were used by each truck/crew for the previous day

UPDATED FEATURES:

The following are updates to existing features that are intended to enhance the quality of life for our clients. 

  • A Swap Day function has been added to the "Select an Action" dropdown on the schedule. Users can now swap all visits between two schedules.

RESOLVED ISSUES: 

The following are client-reported issues and HindSite Software discovered issues that have now been resolved. 

  • Manually pinned property locations will now display consistently across all maps.
  • Pending timesheets queued to send to QuickBooks Desktop are now able to be removed from the pending queue.
  • Corrected a display issue where incomplete reasons were accessible on unrelated visits.
  • Updated Contract print display to match Estimate display.
  • The Emails tab will now display within the visit summary so users can review email communications for that visit.
  • Corrected a display issue where a property would be displayed multiple times in list views.
  • Corrected an issue where phone numbers were not being exported to QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Corrected an issue where Contacts imported from QuickBooks Online were being duplicated.
  • The "Go To Visit" option within the Visits Log will now navigate the user to the scheduled date and time of the visit on the calendar.
  • Corrected a display issue on the field application where flat rate items were displaying duplicates where a matching material item existed.
  • Added an additional check for existing contacts to avoid duplication when importing from QuickBooks Desktop.
